For my project I created an interactive documentary that explores the question “To what extent does digital hoarding create digital clutter which is driven by nostalgia?”. My project reflects my own personal experience with digital hoarding and how that has accumulated into digital clutter and how re-visiting these images ignites feelings of nostalgia within myself. My aim was to express this experience and feelings with the user and take them through a visual journey of a digital hoarder’s mind. Thought-out the project I follow themes of nostalgia and memory as well as express the experience and impact of digital hoarding and digital clutter. I utilised my hoarded digital content in Adobe Animate and Klynt to create a digital space that resembles my digital clutter through the mass number of photos. Additionally, I depicted my experience of re-visiting my hoarded images through a visual representation of a nostalgic memory flashback and a brief auto-ethnographic writing along with this.
